Persona 4: The Golden's Japanese release is set for spring 2012
Persona 4: The Golden will feature new characters, named Marie, a new opening song by composer Shoji Meguro, other new tracks, new animated scenes and new events. The portable version will also have 1.5 times as much voice work as the original game, and an online feature that allows players to call on others when having trouble in dungeons. So far, there has been no mention of an option for a female protagonist, but Famitsu says that a 'highly requested' feature will be announced at a later date.
